Chamois... |

“Chamois” is a beautiful red dun gelding. He is 15.2 hands tall, coming 6 yrs. of age, and is a pleasure to ride. He has been shown successfully several times and was a contestant in the 2006 "Cow-girl Queen Contest" which takes place in the Pioneer Pavilion at the Iowa State Fair. During this event, horse and rider must contend with huge crowds of people, traffic hazards, and the hustle and bustle of one of the nation’s largest state fairs. Chamois led the horses in the 2006 Iowa State Fair parade through downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Chamois has been on numerous trail rides and did wonderfully on our New Virginia cattle drive in October, 2006. This horse can be ridden English or Western and is a beautiful mover. A real eye catcher! Be sure to watch the videos of him in early training and also while competing. This horse has a very promising future in the show rings! |
