Spring Creek Con Man...

The gentle giant we call “Bud” is a 12 year-old gelding and stands about 18 hands tall. Bud loves to have a job to do. He pulls logs out of the woods for us and he even helped us build our barn (see pictures below)! He loves attention and has a real sense of humor. He always makes us laugh. He clips, loads and ties better than any horse at our farm. He even comes when he is called, bringing the rest of the herd with him. Bud is also a wonderful riding horse and can be used for beginners. Since he is so tall mounting him is a bit of a challenge, however he stands very patiently as we clamber aboard. Bud lopes, gallops and slides to a stop and will even scoot backwards when asked! He knows dressage and likes to jump (amazing for a draft)! He drives single, double, and multiple, as well as helping us train the younger horses to learn to drive. He is wonderful to ride on the trails but don't forget to duck those lower branches! Bud would be an asset to any farm, ranch or home.
