Testimonials...

I first met Patty Dague of South River Stable when we were looking for a horse suitable for a beginning rider. We found one stabled at her farm. Patty recommended we buy this horse after she found out what we were looking for. One thing I liked was that Patty knew the past few years’ history of this particular horse. We bought it and it was exactly like the owners and Patty said it would be. We are very satisfied with the horse.

After buying that horse, Patty offered some additional training for one of our other younger horses that we have owned for several years. She also made some tack changes that have helped us out so much.

Because of Patty’s advice, horse training skills, riding and tack tips, we are enjoying our horses more than ever. I would recommend South River Stable for all your equine needs. Thanks for all your help, Patty.

There are “horse trainers” and there are “horse traders.”  And then there’s South River Stable, where you will find experienced, insured, equine professionals that won’t steer you wrong.  If you should ride a bike instead of riding a horse, we’ll tell you.  If you have a “problem” horse that someone claimed was “trained,” we can help you fix their mistakes.  While each horse is different and each situation is unique, we feel that we never “break” a horse.  Who would want a horse with a broken spirit?  We can help!  A horse is an enormous responsibility and if you aren’t enjoying horse ownership due to unfortunate circumstances that occurred in the past, we can attempt to help you through that.  As the testimonial on this page attests, we can help.  SRS wishes to thank all of our clients and students for all of their support!

Bob is a very conscientious friend and hard-working farmer.  His time is valuable.  He wants to be able to ride his horse and share the experience with his family without worrying about his kid’s safety and well-being.  Patty has helped to alleviate his concerns.
